why it matters
They say some lights are too dim to be noticed, but we know better. At Stars Never Die, we believe that even in the darkest circumstances—homelessness, trafficking, or assault—your light is still there. Our philosophy is simple: Dignity is a human right. By meeting immediate physical needs with radical compassion, we create a foundation for survivors to transition from crisis to stability. We are currently looking for partners who share our commitment to making Portland a safer, more equitable place for everyone.
